Portugal - Now my 5th country to call "Home".

Since I left Sweden, the country where I was born and raised, in the early 1980’s, I have established myself in 4 other countries – Norway, Switzerland, the USA, and now Portugal.

I am familiar with the doubt, the fear of the unknown, the hesitancy to let go of old patterns, routines, and jobs.

I know how difficult it can be to say goodbye to loved ones – family and friends.

I also know that these challenges will turn into new experiences that make you stronger, wiser, and more tolerant.

Every country has their own culture, their way of “working the system”, with different languages or dialects. You can find new contacts and make new friends anywhere.

Opportunities and new experiences will present themselves if you are open and welcoming. And for sure, a positive attitude and a smile, will open doors everywhere.

After countless video/zoom meetings with people reaching out, people who have followed me on social media over some time, friends of friends, or clients of friends – all who’re dreaming of a new life in Portugal – I notice similar questions and concerns. From these interactions came the idea of creating trips that support and guide those who are ready to take the leap step into their future.

By trade, I’m an Interior Architect and designer (graduate from UCLA) and I worked professionally as such for more than 25 years in the USA. I know real estate from the perspective of people’s budget, wants, dreams, and needs.

Since I came to Portugal, I have scouted and found properties for clients that followed their dream of moving to this wonderful country.

I work closely with every trade involved with such a purchase and move. I have established amazing collaborations with highly skilled and “seasoned” professionals.

Be assured, you’re not alone. You don’t have to find all the answers by yourself. That can become overwhelming.  I am here to offer help and support.

I am excited about showing you the possibility of your new life here at the Algarve – now my 5th country and the one that I call “Home”.
